Please note an FSM National Research Policy exists and research permit is required at both the National and State levels.

For research in Yap State, please consult Yap State Law No. 2-56 and Yap State Law No. 4-33 after The Federated States of Micronesia Cultural Research Policy; however, as of July 2024 until further notice, Yap State does not permit research of any kind to be conducted nor are they accepting applications for research.
